After my crown fell out during a routine cleaning of my teeth, I was very glad that Dr April Yanda was there and immediately willing to evaluate my situation, and was able to put my crown back into my mouth without incident, and I was able to go home with all my teeth in place. I carefully observed the 24-hour protocol afterwards, and all seems to be well, so thanks to Dr Yanda and all of you at the dental office. Regards, Tom Vince

I have always had a great experience going to the dentist at Dr. Hoover’s office. My dental hygienist is thorough when cleaning my teeth or taking X-rays and encouraging my dental habits. Dr. Hoover is an excellent dentist in that he is thorough in his assessment of my teeth and gums. He is aware of other health issues that might affect my dental health. I will continue to book my dental check-ups with him as time goes by. Plus his music is always calming and entertaining.

Came in for my 6-month cleaning and check up and was pleased that Wendy said that my teeth and gums looked healthy and well maintained although she cautioned me about my bridge, Dr April than came and gave me a thorough exam and check up but told me to call her if any problems develop around the tooth that an x-ray was taken.

Dr. Yanda has been my dentist for over 20 years. She's skilled, personable, and caring, and is very in-tune with her patients' needs. Same goes for my dental hygienist, Dawn, who does a wonderful job with my cleanings. The rest of the staff are equally professional and courteous, and they go out of their way to make patients comfortable. Even though I moved out of Hudson to a nearby town, I can't imagine going anywhere else.

I broke a tooth and damaged another next to it. The staff not only got me in to assess the problem but also allowed enough time to address the situation immediately. Additionally, they worked to be sure that the second appointment could be accomplished before surgery that was scheduled within the next 2 1/2 weeks. I am most appreciative of the efforts of everyone involved.

Dr. Hoover is the best. He really came through for me. I recently had the need for an emergency tooth repair, tooth build up and crown one day before leaving on a two week road trip. My molar had an old gold crown. While eating dinner the tooth broke off at the gum line. Its sharp edges kept cutting my inside cheek and tongue. I was miserable. I called Dr. Hoover’s office that night and left a voice mail describing my situation in hopes he could get me in the next day before my trip. I received a call the first thing the next morning and they got me in that day. He was able to save the tooth before I left on my trip relieving me from my pain and stress. As a result I had a great trip. Dr. Hoover saved me from a miserable two weeks. Thank you Dr. Hoover!

since it had been over a year since I had visited the dentist, (and no fault of yours), I was somewhat apprehensive about what might be found. It proved to be a very positive experience, thanks to the dental expertise of Dr April Yanda and Ms Nancy, and the warm welcome from Lynn and Trish. I will be back for the cleaning as I know I am overdue to get that as well.

After five years absence, you treated me with respect and tolerated me with my broken crown! Although you couldn't save and repair the broken crown, it was delightful seeing you all again. Routine visits are always quick and painless; the team does an excellent job from greeting you at the door through the whole process. Explaining every step of the way and inquiring if you (the patient) has any questions/comments/concerns. Scheduling and rescheduling appointments is easy, they understand life changes. Highly recommend!

I hadn't been to a dentist for a while because of Covid. I knew I needed quite a bit of work done because I lost several big fillings over that time. I can say that Dr. Hoover is the best dentist that has ever treated me (and I'm in my sixties). Professional, knowledgeable and made my root canals and crowns completely painless. Also, the entire office staff and hygienist that worked on me were also fantastic.

I cracked off my front tooth and my grandson was getting married in two weeks. I was in an awful state. Fortunately my daughter told me about Dr. Hoover who is the dentist for their family. I called and they got me in that very day and i walked out with temporary caps and two days before the wedding, Dr. Hoover placed the permanent caps and I went to the wedding a new and confident person. Can't say enough good things about Randy, Dr. Hoovers Assistant and Dr. Hoover. They work miracles and in a timely way. Everyone at the office is professional, and very nice. Made me feel very special.

Dr. Yanda is a perfectionist. She went over and beyond what any other dentist has done to get my new crown to match my natural tooth color. I have off color crowns in my head from prior dentist. She also filled a front tooth that had a chunk missing and I defy you to tell which tooth it is. She is an artist. Spends a lot of time making sure the patient is happy. Her staff is equally incredible, caring, upbeat and enthusiastic. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Dr. Yanda and all of the staff here are phenomenal. They are personable, want to know your needs and comfort levels and each person that works with you meets you where you are at with your level of comfort. Dr Yanda was extremely thorough and also very reassuring through each step of the process. I have not had this pleasant of a dentist experience in a long time. Thank you so much Dr. Yanda and staff!

My initial visit was all about getting to know me as a patient. Not since childhood have I felt treated so professionally, except by one dentist before moving to Hudson, and she was a family friend. Dr. Yanda met me in her office and we went through the questionnaire I had filled out, for instance wondering about why I had indicated that some dental procedures make me nervous. But everyone knows the expression, "I'd rather have a root canal." Like, that's pretty bad! She took my responses seriously as a source of information about me as her patient. Then we went to one of her exam rooms. Her assistant took x-rays and lots of photos of my teeth. Dr. Yanda took detailed measurements relating to gum health as well as inspecting my teeth for possible cavities. She had a large monitor for me to look at which showed me the x-rays and photos. I've seen such monitors for the dentist and hygienist to use, but I have never had one show me what they were seeing. What I appreciated most of all was that, at each point, Dr. Yanda explained what she would be doing before she did it, and then she kept telling me at each step why she was doing the things she did in each part of that initial exam. I felt treated like a patient. All too often I have felt treated by dentists like a revenue source. I wasn't just an object she was doing thing to. Dr. Yanda showed concern for me as a person for whom she was providing good care.

Dr. Yanda's staff are careful, thoughtful, and well educated, making the experiences and procedures easy. Yanda takes time to explain things, Lynne runs the insurance numbers ahead. Everyone answers questions or takes special requests at ease. I can tell their practices and techniques are ahead of the curve, preventing any future dental problems I might have.

Exceptional dentist and team! Dr. Yanda is a top-notch professional using experienced and educated judgment, advanced techniques while employing, great focus and attention to detail with a gentle touch! Nancy, Daisy and Patty are knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and have gentle touches too! I am so pleased with all of them and my bright smile!

Dr. Hoover took me as my dentist and his partner Dr. Yanda was off. He was awesome, a very nice and intellegent man. I was brought me in immediately as I was having a more serious problem that required an oral surgeon, it might have even been before they opened as I saw noone other than staff in the office. Staff was awesome and supportive as well, they even thought to offer and loan me headphones to use when I went to get my tooth extracted, very nice and very courteous. My only negative was the 10 minute conversation to explain to the answering service on the nature of my problem, I felt "I was awoken with pain and could not sleep after" should have been sufficient regardless of whether it was a tooth they worked on, which specific tooth, the type of pain I was experiencing, etc. Sure it was a script, but seems targeting a simple cavity rather than a more serious problem, think I would have still got the questions if the tooth was broken in half and the nerve hanging out, very sad. But the office called almost immediately and let me reiterate, the office and staff were tremendous, could not be more happy with that experience!

It’s always a good experience with Dr. Hoover and everyone who works there. That’s why I continue to return even though I moved to Cleveland years ago. Let’s face it — no one really loves going to the dentist, but I know each time that I will be cared for with professionalism and friendliness. Why would I go anywhere else?

Dr. Keith Hoover and his staff were so friendly and welcoming. Any fear I had of being at the dentist's office was quickly eliminated. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. The staff did an amazing job of implementing precautions to keep all patients safe from the virus. It was a great experience!

Had a crown done by Dr. Hoover and it went very smooth. As always Dr. Hoover is very professional, efficient and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. Had an emergency with a sore and throbbing tooth. I was told to come late morning, and first Nancy did a warm and welcoming hello with a thermometer, then in a comfortable chair took an x-ray of the area. Dr April Yanda came in for a look, did examine me close-up, found the bruised (or fractured) tooth, gave me assurances, some meds, and sent me on my way. So far all is well. Thanks for your kindness. You made me feel better.

The perseverance to schedule a time for me given my circumstances was amazing and so appreciated. The Covid 19 precautions that are in place are excellent. All staff are professional and so nice. You all do a wonderful job and I do truly appreciate the services you have provided to me through the years.

Dr. Yanda has been my dentist for many years. And Patty has been my hygienist. Both very competent, thorough, compassionate; they made a personalized plan for my regular dental care. Once Dr. Yanda arranged for out-of-state treatment for me with a dental emergency, and followed up. On another occasion, she made a recommendation for a procedure that I feared and allowed me to take care of it in my own timing, again following up to make sure (thanks staff member Tracy!) that I maintained my health. And Dr. Yanda saw my mother while she was declining with Dementia, and dealt gently with difficult dental problems that had gone untreated for a few years. Highly recommend Dr. Yanda and staff!

We are new to this practice but I had heard wonderful things about it for many years. I had told my husband that when our dentist retired, this is where I wanted to take our care. Not only are they extremely easy to talk to and encouraging of the patients to ask questions about the treatments, they proactively offer education to the patient. We are not ever in the dark about how things are being done. What a fabulous, professional and kind group of people!

Every time I came every one was so friendly and willing to help in what I needed. We live in Fla now going on 6 years and have found no Dr at all . Had a tooth ache. Went to a Dr a friend said wS OK went took X rays found nothing, sent. Me to another Dr she took xrays Gain found nothing, she sent me back to other Dr. The rude to me wanted to take another X ray but standing up which I really can’t do. Then she got them another nurse took me to chair and took more rays this makes 4sets. But found nothing. Talking to my daughter she asked if I took any sinus meds said no said try it with in 20 minutes pain gone. Just couldn’t believe it. When I come to Hus Drones I call girls get me in and all good. How can anyone say going to the dentist is fun or even pleasurable but the staff and Dr. Yanda just blew me away and I actually find it comforting to have an appointment with them. Very sweet, caring, and pain free. They have the most professional staff you will find. Will not cut corners and Dr. Yanda is a True superstar. Super pleased with the service. Rusty Booth

I'm not at all anxious to visit my dentist. The waiting area is calming with low lighting an couches and comfy chairs. The receptionists are friendly and helpful. I think I've seen most of the hygienists. All friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Yanda is one of the best. She did my two crowns with no problems during the procedure or after. Dr. Yanda was recommended by my last Dentist who moved her practice.

I have been going to Dr. Hoover since I was 11 - I am now almost 26 years old. All of the staff are so kind and remember things I’ve shared in the past. I have never had a cavity or anything besides a cleaning done due to the exceptional care of Dr. Hoover and his staff. Even after moving 30 minutes away from Hudson, I still go to them and plan to take my children some day. Thank you for everything!

If a procedure is necessary, they explain everything that will happen and make sure that the patient is comfortable. Dr. Hoover and his Associates have done an incredible job of providing our family with excellent care for the last 30 years! It seems we have managed to have just about every situation arise and he has always, I mean always, been available to see us through with incredible results. Dr Hoover has been my dentist for 24 years. My teeth are in healthy shape (thanks to his expert care) and I enjoy my cleanings with Kathy and seeing him every 6 months. I am confident that they give the best professional service possible. I have recommended several friends to their office. Can’t say enough about everyone at Hoover and Yanda!!! PS He plays a mean guitar and has a great voice!! Doesn’t get better than that for a dentist!!

Dr. Hoover and the entire staff are some of the most caring people I've met. Not only are they very professional, but also knowledgeable and detail oriented. I recently had a very long procedure that took almost four hours. I was very well cared for and walked away pain-free, a very big plus in my opinion.

Dr. Hoover is the best dentist in the area. He has been my dentist for 31 years and now my children go to him. My girls (4 and 7 years old) absolutely love going to the dentist! His staff is amazing! The receptionists are so welcoming, kind, helpful and patient! All the dental assistants are kind, helpful and patient as well! They make every experience comfortable and easy. I've been going to these guys since I was a wee lass, and I couldn't ask for a better team. When we schedule my appointments and they ask who I would like to see, I always say, "Any of you! You're all great!". My only complaint is my own bad luck- I've never won the movie ticket raffle in my 20ish years of patronage.

Dr. April. Yanda has been my dentist for over 20 years. She and all the staff are friendly. Appointments begin and end on time. They have kept up with the changes in technology over the years. Currently, X-rays are instantaneous on a computer screen in front of you. I just had a crown where they used a scanner on my tooth to make the crown instead of biting into a tray of gel. She was great with my daughter from her first tooth to college. I highly recommend Dr Yanda!

I have been going to Dr YANDA for 10 years now since I moved to Ohio. I am always confident that any tooth problem I have will get the best treatment from her and I have been very pleased with my dental care! For many reasons, at an early age, I developed an extreme fear of dentists that has never completely left me. Before moving to NE Ohio I had found a dentist where I was living who specialized in working with fearful patients and was a patient for several years. After moving here I was afraid I might not find another dentist as good as my former one, but I was wrong. Much research led me to Dr. Hoover and I was not disappointed. I've been his patient for over two years now and have had nothing but good experiences, not only with Dr. Hoover but with everyone else in the practice as well.

Dr. Yanda and her team are phenomenal. I grew up with a parent who worked for a dentist and was hesitant to start seeing someone when I moved from out of state. They spent so much time getting to know me and my dental history. I felt comfortable bringing up concerns and things that I never knew were related to oral health. Definitely would recommend them!

I am not a fan of having my teeth cleaned or fixed, but the staff at Dr. Yanda's office is outstanding. Especially Nancy and Valerie who are her fabulous wingmen. His staff bent over backwards for me. I was sqeezed in on VERY short noticed to get the front tooth fixed. The tooth was beautifly done. They dealt with my insurance company to maximize my benifits and are working hard on the best plan to move forward with the 6 crown process that is needed. I can not praise Dr. Hoover & Staff enough! My experiences with the Staff and Dr. Yanda is nothing short of wonderful. It truly is at the opposite end of the spectrum of what the average person thinks about when going to the Dentist. When my schedule has been tight they have always been able to adjust and fully accommodate the situation. In the fall of 2016 I drove over 500 miles round trip the day of my appointment and would do it again.

Having a root canal done can be a frightening experience and that is why I choose Dr. Hoover. Not only does he ensure my complete relaxation, offer exceptional customer service...I feel no pain. Sure, it is uncomfortable at times but I would never even consider going to another dentist and I have been to a few prior to him...I know the difference. Although I have moved over an hour away, I will travel to go to his office. Although another dentist may not cost as much out of pocket, I will only go to him. Somethings should not be discounted and I believe your dentist is on the top of that list. I love him and his entire staff and I had a root canal done yesterday. That says a lot. He will not hurt you! My beautiful smile belongs to him.
